On the 22nd of July in the House of Football were held a press conference devoted to the official presentation of new visualization of Ukrainian Premier League and the Pari-Match League (Ukrainian top-division), and launch of the competitive season. Among the participants of the event were UPL President Volodymyr Geninson, UPL CEO Ievhen Dykyi and representative of title sponsor Parimatch – Vadym Misiura. Presentation caused great attention of the media, and after the official part journalists had the opportunity to ask all questions about the start of the season and got satisfactory answers.
In his opening speech UPL President Volodymyr Geninson expressed his hope for success of the next season of the Pari-Match League: "I hope the upcoming championship will be exciting and interesting. There will be fair play, respect and understanding of each other. Despite difficult times we have in our country still the most popular and favorite sport remains football. We will do our best to let the championship end with the same number of teams we have now.
UPL found a committee of development, which included representatives of all clubs, and within which there is an ongoing exchange of views on many issues, including attraction of fans to the stadiums. Now we are developing a whole strategy in this direction. That show, which took place on UDP Super Cup of Ukraine – is not an one-time event, actually we saw that the innovations at work, and together with clubs we will introduce them in other matches".
Then UPL CEO Ievhen Dykyi officially presented new logos of the organization and Pari-Match League. In the process of rebranding were involved clubs, ordinary fans and UEFA: "The new league’s logo you have already seen. We used it in the design of the draw of the Pari-Match League and in UDP Super Cup of Ukraine. From today it will be used in all UPL products. The logo was created in the style of the new league’s visualization and symbolizes openness, dynamism and innovativeness of the UPL.
Also we present the new logo of the championship, which is for the second season already officially called Pari-Match League. This is a modern, dynamic and attractive logo".
Another innovation will be the use of UPL anthem, which was presented during the draw calendar, as well as at the UDP Super Cup of Ukraine. This composition will be an inherent part of all Pari-Match League matches and will accompany the players when they step out on the pitch.
Representative of Parimatch Trade Mark, which is the title sponsor of the championship – Vadym Misiura said that continued cooperation with UPL has become the key to release Ukrainian football to a new level and return audience interest to the event: "Today, on the day of the start of the new season of the Pari-Match League we are pleased to confirm the continuation of cooperation with UPL for the next season. Being partners of the national football, we cheer for the fact that it should raise to a new level and most importantly returned the interest of fans. Management of our company believes that Pari-Match League in the new season will open a lot of talented Ukrainian players who worthily represent our country in FIFA World Cup-2018 qualifiers. We support the new format of the Pari-Match League, as it will significantly increase the number of top football matches and so the interest of the audience".
